Functional, durable and remarkably packable — they fit into any backpack. Compression 2.0 sock shoes are ideal for sport, hiking, dynamic activities or the gym. The sole is made of abrasion-resistant, phthalate-free Swedish polymers bonded without glue or stitching, which makes them kind to the environment. The pack also includes a practical water-resistant bag for storing dirty or damp sock shoes on the go.

Natural movement
Finally, footwear that respects the natural shape of your foot. There is plenty of room for your toes, so they are no longer squeezed together. The wider toe box keeps you completely comfortable and lets your feet move the way nature intended. Every pack includes a 2 mm perforated insole for even more comfort, with improved moisture wicking to keep your feet comfortable and dry. You can take the insole out or put it back in whenever you like.

Caring for Skinners is simple. Just air the sock shoes out after every wear and let them dry. You can also wash them by hand or in the machine at 30 °C. Do not use the spin cycle, a tumble dryer or fabric softener. The three-layer StretchKnit™, made of six ultra-functional Italian fibres, keeps the knit durable for a long time. You can also wear ordinary cotton socks inside them to wick sweat away even better.

Comfortable, but a little too thick for me
Really comfortable and they have a great fit and feel on the feet. However, for something designed to give a barefoot feeling, I found them a little too thick and protective for my personal preference. The overall feel and width are very good, and they are especially nice on warm, sunny days. The downside in Norway is that they are not waterproof on top, so it is easy to end up with wet feet when the weather changes. Overall, I really like them and would recommend them, especially if you want something comfortable with a bit more than a traditional barefoot shoe.

Rather not fit
I constantly collect foreign hairs in the fit :( and they don't fit me too well, my foot moves a bit in the sock. Otherwise, walking is comfortable and they are compact.

Comfortable Barefoot Shoe with Good Grip and Stability
The barefoot shoe feels comfortable. The insole works well on rocky terrain, and the rough outsole provides solid grip. With higher socks, the shoe also stays securely in place on inclines.

Great product, I'm excited, I use it for fitness. There was a problem with the size, I ordered it wrong. The customer support solved it perfectly to my satisfaction.

Customer service very poor, socks good unless insoles too short
Customer service (CS) very poor: 1. Paid for a delivery at home, but the carrier delivered to a pick-up office. The CS initially rejected any responsibility, then promised to compensate in some way, but it is more than a month that I’m waiting; 2. The insoles are shorter than described, 25.5cm against a size that must fit a 27cm long foot, too uncomfortable to use them. Asked for an explanation/ longer ones, again 1 month that I’m waiting. About the socks (without insoles), they are good. I’m using them for slacklining and I’m satisfied, even if without the insoles you feel humidity and cold.

Maximally comfortable for exercise
Complete lightness and freedom of movement during exercise in the gym. The shoes fit my feet perfectly, they don't press or rub anywhere. I definitely recommend them.

Great for tree climbing
For years I pondered buying Skinners for treeclimbing, which I usually do barefoot. Eventually I got a pair and found out they work great! On the one hand the toe of the Compression 2.0 is a bit too tight to my liking, but on the other hand it's good for this type of movement; the socks don't twist around the foot when climbing even in odd positions. The ankle could be a bit tighter, though. I don't use the inner sole, since they make too tight a fit. Friction on the outer sole is good, only a tad weaker than on bare feet.
Excellent footwear for bikepacking
Excellent footwear for bikepacking. Easy to pack, and very comfortable to wear off bike. Soles have excellent grip on rocks (even wet rocks) and are thick enough for hiking in the woods, but also soft enough to turn the hike into a sort of massage, perfect between long days in cycling shoes. I got the higher-cut model for a longer hike in the hills, as the shorter version tends to come off over the heel going up steep slopes. Longer model was indeed better in that respect, but it was regrettably evident that it has indeed a narrower toe than the shorter model. Since the short and long models clearly offer a bit different functionalities, it would make sense to make both in both widths. A person's foot width remains the same through all activities, so seeing as there already are two sole lasts available, it would be great if each could be paired with either short or long socks.
