How to choose your Skinners size

Not sure which size of sock shoes or barefoot shoes to choose? How much extra room do you need? Find out how to measure your feet correctly.

How to choose
your sock shoe size?

Skinners Comfort 2.0 sock shoes are a reliable companion for travelling and hiking, or a back-up pair for day trips. They give your toes enough room so they no longer get squeezed. The wider toe box keeps you completely comfortable and lets your feet move the way nature intended.

Do not add any extra length – sock shoes should fit snugly, just like regular socks.

How to choose
your barefoot shoe size?

For healthy movement it is essential that your toes have enough room and are not squeezed inside a shoe that is too narrow. Give them the freedom they need for stable and confident steps.

Following our video guide, our owner Petr measured 27.5 cm; adding 5–10 mm of extra room, he wears Skinners leather shoes in size 43. However, he wears the textile Globetrotter and Wanderer in size 42, because our textile shoes usually need less extra room thanks to their greater inner width. So your leather and textile sizes may differ – it is individual and depends on personal preference.
