Our owner Petr measured 27.5 cm following our guide. When adding extra of 5β10 mm, he wears Skinners shoes in size 43. However, he wears Globetrotter and Wanderer textile shoes in size 42, because our textile shoes usually need a lower extra (thanks to the greater internal width of textile shoes). So you may (or may not) find that your leather shoes fit you a different size than your textile shoes, it is individual and depends on everyone's preference.

The upper combines nubuck, split leather and, most importantly, Ripstop textile, which is known for its superior tear resistance. It's lightweight, comfortable and easy to maintain. Inside, a soft Tencel and textile lining takes care of comfort, hugging the entire foot comfortably. And because it's a barefoot sneaker, of course, there's a wide toe box, zero drop, and the flexibility of a shoe that promotes natural foot movement. The shoe is designed in the Czech Republic, made in Portugal.

Why barefoot shoes?
Health and comfort
The wide, anatomically shaped toe box respects the natural shape of your foot. It prevents the toes from being squeezed and stops blisters or bunions (hallux valgus) from forming.
Stronger foot muscles
Conventional shoes with a stiff sole and firm arch support do the work for your feet. Barefoot shoes make the muscles of the foot, ankle and calf work actively.
Better balance
A thin, high-quality sole lets the foot feel the terrain underneath (proprioception), which improves the connection between nerves and muscles and the balance of the whole body.
Natural walking
The sole is flat β heel and toe sit at the same height β and extremely flexible. That supports a correct centre of gravity and a natural posture.
Relief from pain
